Tim Stokes
On March 4, 2011 Tim Stokes passed away suddenly and left behind a 33 year old wife and their two beautiful boys(ages 6 months and 4 years). Tim Stokes was a loving, energetic, loyal, passionate and hard working man who lived life to the fullest. These qualities are what made Tim such a beloved husband, father, son, brother, uncle and friend. Having Tim in your life meant you smiled wider, hugged stronger and simply enjoyed life more.
Tim was generous financially with anyone he knew needed help- family, friends and strangers alike. The Tim Stokes Foundation was founded to keep Tim’s loving and generous spirit alive and give grieving families assistance at a time when everything has been turned upside down.
The Tim Stokes Foundation is a 501c3 approved organization that provides individualized financial support to widows and widowers with young dependent children.The loss of a spouse is a life altering event that is often accompanied by intense emotional trauma and financial stress. Nothing in life can ever prepare you for such an event and financial distress is the last thing a widow(er) needs especially when caring for children.
The Tim Stokes Foundation provides short-term financial assistance to cover basic needs such as monthly living expenses as well as expenses for individual and/or group therapy for the surviving spouse and children.
